This summer was super busy!
My son didn’t have summer camp, so I have both of my kiddies at home! It’s nice to have them home so we can do our fun outings together. Volunteering for my neighborhood playground friends group is the highlight of the summer, and I actually get to bring the kids to the wonderful summer programs we missed during our past 3 summers in Windsor Terrace/Kensington. This past Tuesday, I did my first sing-along. It was in the playground and it was a bright sunny morning! I got to sing 2 of my original songs; “Hello!” (a song about greetings in different languages) and “On My Rocket Ship” (a song dedicated to traveling the stars).
As for Zuzu & Leelu, my Etsy shop, I’ve been having fun growing my following and expanding the product in my shop. I am currently working on the fall/winter items. Earlier this month, I was featured on a blog called Originally Remixed. Read the feature here:
School starts for both my babies in a little over two weeks. Still enough time to hit the beach, go see a movie, go to a pool, another amusement park, shop… The rest of this year is going to be exciting! I still have yet to publish my haiku book. If it happens by the end of this month, I will be ecstatic! I always have so many projects lined up. So now I just have to take one at a time. First up, designing Zuzu & Leelu items.
Right now, however, I have to get dinner together!
